We read everything

Questions, trouble, ideas, or just a hello: write to hello@heralmanac.app and a human will answer. Her Almanac is built by a small independent team at Rowan Digital LLC, so replies come from the people who actually make the app, usually within a couple of days.

One honest note: because your data lives only on your phone and is encrypted with your keys, we cannot see your entries, reset your PIN remotely, or recover a backup without its password. That is the design working. The FAQ below covers what we can and cannot do.

Common questions

FAQ

Does it predict my period?

No, by design. Her Almanac never guesses about your body. It keeps what YOU record, beautifully, and shows you your own patterns: descriptive, never predictive. (A "your typical month" planning view of your own past is on the roadmap; fortune-telling is not.)

Is there cloud sync? What if I lose my phone?

There are no company servers on purpose. No account means no server to breach, subpoena, or sell. You create an encrypted backup file that is YOURS (save it anywhere you trust); restoring it on a new phone brings your whole almanac home.

Does it know where I am?

No. There is no location permission at all, and the app makes no network connections of any kind. The painted skies follow the clock on your phone, nothing else.

Is it on iPhone?

Very soon. Her Almanac is on Google Play for Android now, and the iPhone version is with Apple for its final review. It is the same almanac on both, with the same promise: nothing leaves your phone unless you send it.

Is there a dark mode?

The app is art-first: every screen lives under a painted sky that changes with your real time of day, and evening and night ARE its dark modes. A system-dark theme may come later.

Why no streaks or scores?

Because your health isn't a game. One tap when you want to, nothing when you don't. Skipping days is completely fine, and the app will never guilt you.
